Once the new process is created, it has to be communicated to everyone impacted. We will discuss this in more detail later on. For now, know that you can ask team members to volunteer if they would like to help integrate the new process into the company. This is especially important when more than one operational area is impacted by a change.
Over time, and as Lean culture becomes more and more a part of the company, it will become almost second nature for people to point out opportunities in unexpected places, creating an environment that fosters accountability and a sense of ownership and pride among the entire workforce.
